Cannon Falls is a city in Goodhue County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 4,083 at the 2010 census. Located along U.S. Route 52 to the southeast of the Twin Cities, Cannon Falls may be best known as the home of Pachyderm Studio, where many famous musicians have recorded their music. Nirvana is probably the best known band to use the site. The group recorded In Utero at the studio. McCullough Park and Campground near Montgomery Minnesota is a county managed park offering 20 partial hookup (water/ electric) and 10 primitive (no hookup) RV and tent camping sites near a recreational lake. The park has family friendly amenities including horseshoes, fishing and walking trails.

The park is located on the north side of Shield Lake which feeds in to the Cannon River (eventually on in to the Mississippi River near Red Wing). The park contains two distinct areas: Upper McCullough encompasses 70 acres of scenic bluffs, beautiful overlooks, and natural trails; and Lower McCullough which includes the campground and over 750 feet of shoreline.

Campsites are located on a loop road with all backins. Gravel roads and sites there are no shade trees. The lake is adjacent. Showers and a dump station are available.
