The Republic and Canton of the Jura , also known as the canton of Jura or canton Jura, is the newest of the 26 Swiss cantons, located in the northwestern part of Switzerland. The capital is Delémont. It shares borders with the canton of Basel-Landschaft, the canton of Bern, the canton of Neuchatel, the canton of Solothurn, and the French régions of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Grand Est.

  • 2. Musee Chappuis-Fahndrich Develier
    The Musée Chappuis-Fähndrich, located in Develier, Canton of Jura, Switzerland, houses a large collection of objects from everyday life in the region during the period 1650 to 1950. The collection, assembled by Marc Chappuis and his wife, and housed in a barn, consists of housewares, farm tools, devotional items, and other objects used in farm life, local crafts, and religious worship over a period of three hundred years. There are cast iron skillets, ceramic pots, wooden toys, and leather harnesses, many of them purchases from local second hand shops or gifts of nearby farmers. The museum is private and open by appointment only.

    Ballenberg is an open-air museum in Switzerland that displays traditional buildings and architecture from all over the country. Located near Brienz in the municipality of Hofstetten bei Brienz, Canton of Bern, Ballenberg has over 100 original buildings that have been transported from their original sites. In addition to the main attraction of the buildings themselves, some of the industrial and crafting buildings still operate to give demonstrations of traditional rural crafts, techniques and cheesemaking. There is also a sizable number of farmyard animals in the grounds.

    The Manoir de Ban, or Champ de Ban Estate Manor, is a manor house located at Corsier-sur-Vevey on the banks of Lake Geneva in Switzerland. The property is known for having been Charlie Chaplin's home for 25 years, from 1952 until his death in 1977. It houses a museum dedicated to the life and work of its former owner, named Chaplin's World, which opened in April 2016 after 15 years in development.The manor is listed as a heritage site of Swiss Inventory of Cultural Property of National Significance.
