Castlecove is a village in County Kerry, Ireland, located on the Iveragh peninsula on the N70 road which forms part of the Ring of Kerry. It is situated on the southwestern side of the peninsula. Cuan an Chaisleáin in Irish means the same as Castlecove, but an officially recognised Irish name for the town is An Siopa Dubh.An Siopa Dubh, which translates to The Black Shop, is the name of a pub/shop in Castlecove. Historic map from 1897-1913 labels the village as Blackshop.

Started from Adare, Heritage town, drive down to Killarney National Park ( Muckross House and Torc Waterfall).
went ahead to Ladies view , then drove back toward Portmagee.
Next day drove toward waterville, then had lunch at sandy beach Castlecove, and went to Staigue stone fort and finished at Kenmare.
125 miles trip of Ring of kerry offers facinated beauty and must visit for those who travel to Ireland for tourism and vacation.

Clockwise from Killarney it follows the N71 to Kenmare, then the N70 around the Iveragh Peninsula to Killorglin – passing through Sneem, Waterville, Cahersiveen, and Glenbeigh – before returning to Killarney via the N72.
