    Doi Mae Salong is a mountain in Thailand, part of the Daen Lao Range. It is in the northern part of Chiang Rai Province six km from the border with Burma. This mountain rises in Mae Fa Luang District. Its summit is near the town of Santikhiri which is built on the ridge.This mountain is famous because a Kuomintang military division created a settlement near it in 1961 after having been expelled from Burma.

    Doi Ang Khang is a mountain in Fang District, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. It is part of the Daen Lao Range that straddles both sides of the Burmese-Thai border. It is the site of an agricultural station, the first research station set up by King Bhumibol Adulyadej in 1969. The peak of Doi Ang Khang is 1,928 metres above sea level, and the agricultural station covers an area of 1,989 rai .

    Phu Chi Fa , also Phu Chee Fah, is a mountain area and national forest park in Thailand. It is located at the northeastern end of the Phi Pan Nam Range, 12 km to the southwest of Doi Pha Tang at the eastern edge of Thoeng District, Chiang Rai Province. The cliff is part of an elevated area, the Doi Pha Mon sub-range, that rises near the border with Laos sloping towards the Mekong River. The highest point of the ridge is 1628 m high Doi Pha Mon. With views over the surrounding mountains, it is one of the famous tourist attractions of the Thai highlands near Chiang Rai.     Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park , formerly known as Mae Fang National Park and Doi Fa Hom Pok National Park, is the northernmost national park in Thailand. It straddles Fang, Mae Ai, and Chai Prakan Districts of Chiang Mai Province. The park covers 524 km2 of the mountain area of the Daen Lao Range, at the border with Myanmar. The tallest peak is Doi Pha Hom Pok at 2,285 metres , the second highest in Thailand.Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park is mostly covered with forest, where tree species such as Hopea odorata predominate with rare plant species such as Impatiens jurpioides and butterflies such as Meandrusa sciron.
