1. Blue KnobClaysburg Blue Knob is a Pennsylvania summit with a broad dome that is the northernmost 3,000-footer in the range of Allegheny Mountains. It is the highest point in Bedford County. The mountain is the site of 5,874-acre Blue Knob State Park and contains approximately 18 miles of hiking trails and numerous overlooks. A ski area is located on the mountain's north slopes. Everett Railroad #11: Return To Steam
In mid-October of 2015, the Everett Railroad, in Hollidaysburg, PA, returned 2-6-0 #11 to active service after a long restoration. On this particular day, this mighty Mogul was pulling three-car Pumpkin Patch Trains, from the new station in Hollidaysburg to Brookes Mills and return, with a stopover at a trackside pumpkin patch, where kids could feel free to pick their own pumpkins before the train returned to the station.
