Colebrook is a town in Coos County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 2,301 at the 2010 census. Situated in the Great North Woods Region, it is bounded on the west by the Connecticut River and home to Beaver Brook Falls Natural Area. The main village of the town, where 1,394 people resided at the 2010 census, is defined as the Colebrook census-designated place , and is located at the junction of U.S. Route 3 with New Hampshire Route 26. The town also includes the villages of Kidderville, Upper Kidderville, and Factory Village. Colebrook is part of the Berlin, NH−VT Micropolitan Statistical Area.

  • 1. Flume Gorge Franconia
    The Flume Gorge is a natural gorge extending 800 feet horizontally at the base of Mount Liberty in Franconia Notch State Park, New Hampshire, United States. Cut by the Flume Brook, the gorge features walls of Conway granite that rise to a height of 70 to 90 feet and are 12 to 20 feet apart. Discovered in 1808 by 93-year-old Aunt Jess Guernsey, the Flume is now a paid attraction that allows visitors to walk through the gorge.
