    Istarske Toplice , is a thermal health resort in the central part of Istria, Croatia, in the village of Livade. Eleven kilometres southwest of Buzet , it is in the canyon part of the Mirna river , surrounded by lush vegetation once a much larger common oak forest - the only of its kind on the Croatian coast - known as Motovunska Šuma . Springs of radioactive isothermal sodium-calcium-chloride-sulphate mineral water; deposits of mineral mud. Istarske Toplice offers excellent sports and recreational facilities . One may choose among swimming, gymnastics, walking, jogging, table tennis, miniature golf, boccia, cycling, hunting and fishing. Excursions to neighbouring villages and private farms are also available.
