Crosby is a city in Crow Wing County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 2,386 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Brainerd Micropolitan Statistical Area. Crosby is adjacent to its twin city of Ironton. It is one of the cities in the Cuyuna iron range.

1. Memorial Park Crosby
The National World War I Museum and Memorial of the United States is located in Kansas City, Missouri. Opened to the public as the Liberty Memorial museum in 1926, it was designated in 2004 by the United States Congress as America's official museum dedicated to World War I. The Museum and Memorial are managed by a non-profit organization in cooperation with the Kansas City Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners. The museum reopened to the public in December 2006 with an expanded, award-winning facility to exhibit an artifact collection that began in 1920. The National World War I Museum tells the story of the Great War and related global events from their origins before 1914 through the 1918 armistice and 1919 Paris Peace Conference. Backpack Hammocking in the Minnesota Northwoods

Got out for two nights (too short!!) and went to Northern Minnesota to some favorite spots in Crosby Manitou State Park (terrific trails there) and then on to Horseshoe Ridge on the Superior Hiking Trail. Then looped back to the trailhead and home. Slept wonderfully in my hammock and had some good woods walking.

MRT Ribbon Cuttting

The Mississippi River Trail is Minnesota's first national bicycle route from the headwaters in Minnesota to the Gulf of Mexico . The great river road also shares parts of it's route. The kiosk in Kiwanis Park in Brainerd represents the host cities of Brainerd, Crosby, and Aitkin.
