The Hackensaw Boys are a string band based in central Virginia that formed in 1999. The band has drawn on many musical influences and are [k]nown best for rowdy, energetic live shows. They have performed at Bonnaroo, Lockn', FloydFest, and the All Good Music Festival. The band tours continuously and claims twenty or more current and former members. The current four-piece lineup contains only one original member, David Sickmen, who rejoined the group in 2012 . In April 2016 the band released Charismo on Free Dirt Records, their first studio album in almost a decade — which was produced by Larry Campbell.

I had to travel to Belgium to service a printer with one of our companies' customers, which took me all the way down to Maldegem. In the evening I met Makochan200 for the weekly StarBucks gathering at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. As usual, when we finished our session at StarBucks, we went down to the spot where the king grills for our spot of unhealthy dinner. Yes, our spot, as it hits the spot pretty well! :D

Steam in Belgium: Dendermonde - Puurs

A little trip along the railways from Puurs to Baasrode-Noord. Whilst the line continues to Dendermonde, it is only used for access as there is no connection between the preserved railway line and the SNCB at Puurs. This was filmed on the 7 July 2012 during the Steam Festival weekend.
