It is located inside Jostedalsbreen National Park, and it is a side branch of the large Jostedalsbreen.

Travel in road e16 dont miss famous Stalheimskleiva road on either side of the road you can see the Sivle Waterfall (126 m) and the Stalheim Waterfall (142 m). Stalheimskleiva is a one-way road going down and is open except from winter-season, when there is snow and ice.
