Folkston is a city in and the county seat of Charlton County, Georgia, United States. Folkston is in the Jacksonville Metropolitan Area. The population was 4,148 as of the 2010 census, up from 2,178 in 2000, largely due to the extension of the city boundary to include D. Ray James Prison.

The Okefenokee Swamp is a shallow, 438,000-acre , peat-filled wetland straddling the Georgia–Florida line in the United States. A majority of the swamp is protected by the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge and the Okefenokee Wilderness. The Okefenokee Swamp is considered to be one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Georgia. The Okefenokee is the largest blackwater swamp in North America. The swamp was designated a National Natural Landmark in 1974.

Road Trip #361 - Virginia State Route 8 South - US-58 to North Carolina State Line (Stuart)

We continue along Virginia SR-8, heading south. SR-8 briefly runs concurrent with US Highway 58 East, and then splits away and goes through the town of Stuart. SR-8 doubles as US-58 Business into town, and then SR-8 makes a right turn, avoiding the town center. An SR-8 business route runs through the downtown area. After leaving Stuart, we continue all the way to the North Carolina State Line where we conclude our video.

Shocking find magnet fishing WW2 U.S. base

In this video we magnet fish Braunstone park in Leicestershire.

During 1944 the park was the home to the brave men of the United States 82nd Airborne division. They lived and trained here prior to being dropped into occupied France around the D Day Normandy landings.

The British Home guard also had a Headquarters on the park, in Braunstone hall.

With the Royal artillery also stationed here this must have been a seriously big military site.

There are two lakes on the Park. We magnet fish both in this must watch upload.

Easter Sunrise at Stone Mountain Park Atlanta 2016

The event began in 1944, Lucille A. Lanford, from Stone Mountain First United Methodist Church, suggested that the church’s youth group climb to the top of Stone Mountain on Easter morning to watch the sunrise. The event grew from that one youth group to thousands ascending the mountain every Easter since.
