Foxborough is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States, about 22 miles southwest of Boston, 18 miles northeast of Providence, Rhode Island and about 73 miles northwest of Cape Cod. Foxborough is part of the Boston metropolitan statistical area. The population was 16,865 at the 2010 census. Foxborough is the official spelling of the town name, although the alternative spelling Foxboro is also frequently used.
