Furtwangen im Schwarzwald is a small city located in the Black Forest region of south western Germany. It belongs to the district of Schwarzwald-Baar along with the two more important cities of Villingen and Schwenningen. The total population of Furtwangen was 9673 inhabitants on December 31, 2004. Furtwangen gained the right to call itself a city in 1873. The Breg is a small stream which, coming from the mountainous areas around Furtwangen, flows down through the inner city to the east. The German Clock Museum is situated near the centre of the Black Forest town of Furtwangen im Schwarzwald, a historic centre of clockmaking. It features permanent and temporary exhibits on the history of timekeeping. The museum is part of the local technical college . The museum is devoted to the history of timekeeping devices. A major focus is on clockmaking in the Black Forest, both as a cottage industry and on an industrial scale. The museum has an extensive collection of clocks and other artefacts relating to horology, not just those from the Black Forest, but also clocks and watches from around the world and spanning from prehistoric times to the present. The Hexenloch Mill , formerly the Dreistegen Mill , lies in the ravine-like Hexenloch in the Black Forest in Germany between St. Märgen and Furtwangen in the parish of Furtwangen-Neukirch. It was built in 1825 and has been in the same family since 1839.It is the only mill in the Black Forest with two water wheels. In 1825, the part with the smaller water wheel was built as a nail smithy. Later, the part with the larger water wheel was built as a sawmill. Eventually the nail smithy was turned into a workshop for the clockmaking works. The mill and restaurant are open daily all year round, except for 2 weeks in March.

The third of three hilltop castles on the site, it is located atop Mount Hohenzollern, above and south of Hechingen, on the edge of the Swabian Jura of central Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The first fortress on the mountain was constructed in the early 11th century. Over the years the House of Hohenzollern split several times, but the castle remained in the Swabian branch, the dynastic seniors of the Franconian-Brandenburgian cadet branch that later acquired its own imperial throne. Black Forest

A driving tour of the Black Forest in southern Germany, firstly staying at Titisee in the south, from where we visit Triberg and it's waterfalls, Waldkirch and the city of Freiburg. We then visit the nearby Lake Schluchsee, Altglashutten, Lenzkirch and Loffingen. Travelling north, we then pass through St Margen, St Peter and Haslach, before reaching our second base in the north of the Forest at Durbach. From here we visit the towns of Offenburg, Hausach, and Villingen, and the lovely villages of Gengenbach and Schiltach.

Wir starten unseren Rundgang durch Eigeltingen im Hegau vor dem Rathaus. Wir gehen zunächst die Hauptstraße entlang bis zur Langensteiner Straße und dann wieder zurück in die Kirchstraße. Anschließend geht es über die Hauptstraße in die Hinterdorfstrasse und dann durch die Krumme Straße wieder zurück bis zum Rathaus.

STREET VIEW: Strasbourg in FRANCE

Wir starten unseren Rundgang durch Straßburg am Place du Corbeau. Anschließend gehen wir auf die Kathedrale zu drehen dann eine Schleife bis zum Pont d´Auvergne. Über den Place St. Etienne geht es dann wieder zurück am Palais Rohan vorbei bis zum Quai St. Nicolas. Von dort geht es am Kanal entlang zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. We walk through the beautful city of Strasbourg in France with its big cathedral and wonderful buildings.
