    Gandhi Teerth is a research institution and museum on Mahatma Gandhi, in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India. Its initiated and promoted by the Gandhi Foundation. This is located 60 km away from Ajanta caves. Gandhi Research Foundation , was inaugurated by President of India, Pratibha Patil on 25 March 2012. It was founded by Bhavarlal Jain.The structure was built sustainable and scientifically in Jodhpur stone, under a green norms in view to last for centuries. Includes auditorium, an amphitheater, meeting / classrooms and guest houses. The library and archives have specially treated preserved historic documents for researchers on Gandhiji. There is a shop having Khadi clothing, handmade gift items and Gandhian literature.

    The Maulana Azad Library is the central library of Aligarh Muslim University in Aligarh, India. It is the largest University library in Asia. The seven-storey building is surrounded by 4.75 acres of lawns and gardens. It has about 1,400,000 books. It celebrated Golden Jubilee on 7 December 2010.It got a donation of about 5000 books which were the personal collection of Kaifi Azmi.Dr. Amjad Ali serves as the current University Librarian of the library.

    Kavi Narmad Central Library is a public library in Surat built by the Surat Municipal Corporation in 1991 at Ghod Dod Road. The library is the largest in the city with 2,26,391 books and a membership of 46,855. The library premises have a total area of 6158 sq. m. and was built at the cost of ₹ 4.03 crore. The library also houses a reading room and a newspaper section open to public. It is named after Veer Narmad the famous Gujarati poet from Surat and was opened to public on his 158th birth anniversary. On18th January, 2011 Information Centre, separate sections for senior citizen and rare book collection, conference hall and audio visual room were added. Recently the revitalization of the library was completed.

    Pustakanch Gaav is a special library in Bhilar, Maharashtra that opened on May 04, 2017. The initiative was conceptualized and led by Vinod Tawde, Minister of Cultural Affairs and Marathi Language and inaugurated by Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra. This government initiative is inspired by Britain’s Hay-on-Wye, a notable Welsh town known for its book stores. At the time of launch, there were 25 artistically decorated locations in Bhilar that are turned into spots for readers; collectively they housed over 15,000 books in 18 distinct genres. Most books were in Marathi language and there were plans to add additional 25,000 books in other languages such as English, Hindi and Gujarati.
