Across the USA rail scene in 30 minutes
From September 10 2011 until October 15 2011, I did a West-East tour of the USA, with more than half the attractions being of a rail theme.
This is just a short compilation of the many locations I managed to photograph at in this 5 week period.
Badlands National Park, South Dakota
Badlands National Park in South Dakota is an amazing geological landscape of rugged beauty. These striking geologic deposits contain one of the world's richest fossil beds. The park's 244,000 acres protect an expanse of mixed-grass prairie where bison, bighorn sheep and prairie dogs live today.

Where do you find diamonds?? Well, we hunted for uncut natural diamonds at Crater of the Diamonds State Parks in Murfreesboro Arkansas. The job was not easy! The days were long and hot and the mining was a bit tedious... Although the journey was quite an adventure!
