Kolbotn is the centre of Oppegård, Norway. The population is about 8,000. Kolbotn has several elementary schools, four middle schools and a high school. Town is located at the end of Kolbotnvannet, a lake. Jazz guitarist Eivind Aarset was born in Kolbotn in 1961, and the Norwegian black metal band Darkthrone formed there in 1986. The Well is an adult-only spa and wellness center at Kolbotn in Oppegård municipality in Akershus county, Norway. Situated 13 kilometers south of downtown Oslo, the center is set to open in December 2015 with 160 employees. Construction began in January 2014.The Well is the most expensive spa center ever to be built in Norway. With an original price tag of NOK 150 million, costs had escalated to more than NOK 275 million by the time the spa and wellness center was completed. When two travelling Kiwis found themselves trapped among selfie sticks in an overcrowded city, Oslo came to the rescue.

In Norway's capital they were served delicious food and wine, tried stand-up paddling on the Oslo Fjord, made use of Oslo's app-connected City Bikes, and last but not least, got to admire one of Munch's masterpieces completely undisturbed. So Marela and Sam's two days in Oslo were packed with experiences, but not with people.

Marela and Sam went to Bar Brutus, Himkok, the café at Astrup Fearnley Museet, Godt Brød Grünerløkka, Astral, Vippa Oslo, the National Gallery, Ekebergparken Sculpture Park and Blå. They stayed in an AirBnB accommodation in Barcode, used city bikes from Oslo Bysykkel, tried SUP with Aksel Kolstad (bookable through the Lokalii app), and went to a Sofar Sounds secret concert.

The rescue mission was made possible through The Great Escape – a collaboration organised through Oslo Brand Alliance, which includes Oslo Region, Oslo Business Region and VisitOSLO.

Riding Flytoget, Express Train From Oslo Airport To Central Station, Oslo

Flytoget, the Airport Express Train is a Norwegian high-speed airport rail link connecting Oslo Airport, Gardermoen to Oslo Central Station in nineteen minutes.[5] Run by Flytoget, it operates on the high-speed Gardermoen Line using sixteen GMB Class 71 electric trains. Normal service frequency is once every ten minutes, with five of the services each hour continuing westwards beyond Oslo Central. The extended services serve nine stops within Greater Oslo and take up to 60 minutes.

Flytoget transported 5.4 million passengers in 2007, a 34-percent market share of airport ground transport.[6] The service, which has a top speed of 210 kilometres per hour (130 mph), is the only high-speed rail service in Norway. Construction started in 1994 and high-speed trains began serving Gardermoen Airport from the date of its opening on 8 October 1998, although full operation using the 14.5-kilometre-long (9.0 mi) Romerike Tunnel had to wait another ten and a half months after severe leaks caused by the tunnel's construction led to the partial depletion of two lakes.

Formed in 1992 as a subsidiary of Norwegian State Railways, the company has been owned since 2001 by the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry.
