HEART-POUNDING CENOTE TRIP before leaving Mexico

It has been getting hot in Puerto Morelos lately, so in today's travel vlog, we’re heading to the brisk water of a cenote to cool off. Near us is the famous ruta de los cenotes, a road filled with these Riviera Maya sinkholes. There are dozens to choose from, but we decided to take a 30-minute drive from our home in Quintana Roo to see Cenote La Noria.
Okay, so maybe calling it a “sinkhole” doesn’t do it justice. This cenote had clear turquoise water with fish swimming and bats flying in the cave overhead. This particular cenote has a terrifying jumping platform where you can stand at Earth level and attempt to jump the ~2 stories to the freezing blue water below. It also features a zipline and a swing over the water.
To get to Cenote La Noria, you take the Ruta de Los Cenotes road from Puerto Morelos for about 15 minutes before turning off at the signs for Cenote Kin-Ha. From there, it’s about another 10 minutes until you see the signs for La Noria.
Later, we meet up with a special friend of ours. You probably know her best as MyTrish Advisor (Facebook.com/MyTrishAdvisor). And finally, we share a new challenge we are faced with—attempting to get a new car battery for our Prius C3 in Mexico. Since the technology for our model isn't as advanced here in Mexico as it is in the US, we may need to drive 60 hours back to the border for a new battery. YIKES! Puerto Morelos Cenotes | The BEST Family day out near Cancun [2019]
Puerto Morelos Cenotes are pretty special! Last Saturday we took a family trip to Cenote Zapote, it's 30 minutes from Puerto Morelos, 55 minutes from Playa del Carmen.
We explored three cenotes and did 4 zip-lines, and ate simple, but very delicious Mexican food. The Kids reviewed the tour. It's definitely a family friendly trip and highly recommended.

¡Hola Turisteros! Sin duda uno de los lugares de México mas hermosos y asombrosos que hemos visitado es la ciudad patrimonio de la humanidad de San Miguel de Allende Guanajuato. Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitarlo y la verdad es que a donde quiera que mires te sorprendera su belleza, historia y tradiciones. Próximamente les traeremos mas videos de lo que pudimos ver en esta magnifica ciudad conocido también como el corazón de México.
En nuestra visita pudimos ser testigos de una boda tradicional que se realiza en esta ciudad ¡fue genial! ¡te darán ganas de casarte! el ambiente creado por la gente y el lugar sin duda hacen de estas bodas que sean únicas. Una de las actividades que más llama la atención durante la realización de las bodas en San Miguel es la organización de callejoneadas, donde los novios caminan con sus invitados por las angostas calles del pueblo.
Los enamorados son acompañados por el colorido de las mojigangas y un burro que se adorna y que carga bebidas preparadas con tequila, que son repartidas en pequeños jarritos. En el pueblo se tienen dos ejemplares de nombre Benito y Camila.
También participa un grupo musical, ya sea una estudiantina o mariachi. Además la gente de San Miguel de Allende les aplaude y lanza flores, como símbolo de buenos deseos.
Si bien es cierto que este pintoresco destino turístico no es el lugar más barato para casarse, tampoco es de los más caros; sobre todo si lo comparamos con destinos de playa en donde el costo podría ser mayor. Casarse en San Miguel es salirse de lo cotidiano y disfrutar de un par de días en esta hermosa joya barroca junto con tu pareja. La ciudad ofrece un sin fin de interesantes actividades para realizar en compañía de la familia, por lo que todos tus invitados te agradecerán el que indirectamente los hayas obligado a salir de casa para pasar un par unos días maravillosos en el “Corazón de México” un lugar del que nadie se querrá despedir.
No lo duden y dense una vuelta por San Miguel de Allende, visiten los recintos, platiquen con las organizadoras, seguramente encontrarán una buena idea para planear una inolvidable sorpresa nupcial.
