Leontica is a village and former municipality in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was first recorded in year 1204 as Levontega. The municipality also contained the village Comprovasco. It had 315 inhabitants in 1602, which increased to 441 in 1808 and 473 in 1850. It then declined a bit, to 295 in 1900 and 408 in 1950. In 2000 the population had dropped to 267. In 2004 the municipality was merged with the other, neighboring municipalities Castro, Corzoneso, Dongio, Largario, Lottigna, Marolta, Ponto Valentino and Prugiasco to form a new and larger municipality Acquarossa. The Trümmelbach Falls in Switzerland are a series of ten glacier-fed waterfalls inside the mountain made accessible by a tunnel-funicular, built 1913, stairs, and illumination. Located in the Lauterbrunnen Valley, the creek called Trümmelbach alone drains the glacier defiles of Eiger , Mönch , and Jungfrau and carries more than 20,000 tons of boulder detritus per year.Its drainage area is 24 square kilometres , half of it covered by snow and glaciers. 2. Staubbach Fall Lauterbrunnen
The Staubbach Fall is a waterfall in Switzerland, located just west above Lauterbrunnen in the Bernese Highlands. The waterfall drops 297 metres from a hanging valley that ends in overhanging cliffs above the Weisse Lütschine.The stream, on reaching the verge of the rocky walls of the valley, forms a cascade so high that it is almost lost in spray before it reaches the level of the valley. After rain, and early in the season when fed by the melting snows, the Staubbach Fall is a very striking object. The force of the stream above the fall at such times is sufficient to carry the water clear of the precipice, and the whole mass descends in a condition of liquid dust, between spray and cloud, that sways to-and-fro with the gentlest breeze. Osogna - Un video ricordo

Su commissione del Comune di Osogna, capoluogo del Distretto di Riviera, nel momento dell'aggregazione con i comuni di Cresciano, Iragna e Lodrino, su iniziativa del Sindaco Alberto Pellanda, è stato realizzato questo video. Lo stesso è stato mostrato alla popolazione in occasione di un momento di festa, il 26 marzo 2017, allo scopo di sottolineare la nascita del nuovo Quartiere di Osogna, parte del futuro Comune di Riviera.

Nel filmato sono evidenziati i luoghi più significativi e la natura di questo villaggio dell'alto Ticino. L'auspicio è quello di aver realizzato un progetto piacevole ed interessante, che renda indelebile il ricordo di questo momento così importante per Osogna e permetta al tempo stesso di divulgare la bellezza del suo territorio.

Das großzügige Ferienhaus steht in aussichtsreicher Hanglage am Waldrand, 2,5 km oberhalb von Faulensee. Vom Haus aus schöner Blick über den Thunersee und die Bergkette des Niederhorns (1963 m). Über Waldweg mit einigen Treppenstufen ca. 400 m zum Seeufer mit Bademöglichkeiten. Hier auch Einstieg zum See-Rundwanderweg. Seebad Faulensee (Eintritt kostenfrei) über Fußweg 1,5 km. Freibad am See in Spiez ist in ca. 20 Min. zu Fuß am See entlang reichbar.
Ca. 1200 m2 großes, offenes Hanggrundstück mit ebenerdiger Rasenfläche, Gartenlaube mit Seeblick. Ein Gärtner kommt regelmäßig zur Gartenpflege. Garage und 1 überdachter Pkw-Stellplatz, davor 2 weitere Stellplätze.
Gute Einrichtung mit gepflegten Holzmöbeln. Fliesen- und Marmorböden. Teppichböden in den Schlafzimmern. Fußbodenheizung. Waschmaschine und Trockner. Insektenschutzgitter, Rolläden. Internetzugang (WLAN, inklusive). Kabel-TV (deutsche, schweizer und französiche Programme). Stereoanlage. DVD. Abstellraum. 2 überdachte Balkone und 3 Terrassen, davon 2 überdacht, jeweils mit Seeblick (Mobiliar). Gasgrill.
Hinweis: Rauchen ist im Haus nicht gestattet.

Großes Bad (Wanne mit Massagedüsen) mit Dusche/WC, Seeblick. Steintreppe in die 1. Etage: Wohnraum mit Sitzgruppe und Kamin, Balkonausgang; offener Übergang ins Eßzimmer mit großem Kachelofen. Zum Eßzimmer hin offene Küche (5 Ceranfelder, Backofen, Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle, Gefrierschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Toaster) mit Eßplatz für 5 Personen, Terrassenausgang. Steintreppe ins Erdgeschoß: Zweibettzimmer, Terrassenausgang. Schlafzimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten und 2 Ausziehbetten. Doppelzimmer, durch Vorhang abgeteite Dusche/WC und Sauna für 5 Personen. Sep.WC. Hinweis: Bei Buchung zum Preis für 6 Personen stehen 2 Schlafzimmer nicht zur Verfügung.
