Liaoning is a province of China, located in the northeast of the country. The modern province was established in 1907 as Fengtian or Fengtien province and the name was changed to Liaoning in 1929. It was also known as Mukden Province at the time, for the Manchu pronunciation of Shengjing, the former name of the provincial capital Shenyang. Under the Japanese-puppet Manchukuo regime, the province reverted to its 1907 name but the name Liaoning was restored in 1945 and again in 1954. 4. Beiling Park Shenyang
Beiling Park is a park in the northern part of Shenyang City, China. The park has an area of 3,300,000m², and contains many historic buildings, pine trees and lakes. In 1927, Government of the Fengtian Province established the park, which includes Zhaoling, the tomb of the second Qing emperor, Huang Taji, and surrounding area. The construction of the tomb took place between 1643 and 1651. West of the tomb are flower gardens and east are several lakes. There is also a Children's Garden within the park.

7. Benxi Water Cave Benxi
Benxi is a prefecture-level city located in the east of Liaoning province, People's Republic of China, south-southeast of the provincial capital Shenyang. Its population was 1,709,538 at the 2010 census whom 1,011,377 lived in the built-up area made of 3 urban districts . It was founded as a metallurgical center in 1915. Benxi Iron and Steel Company is the largest employer in the city, and used to be the fourth-largest steel company in China. The second-largest industry in Benxi is coal mining. Benxi has pollution problems due to steel production and coal mining. During the disaster of Air France flight AF447, Benxi Iron and Steel Company lost 5 employees, including the executive Chen Chiping who was the wife of Liaoning's provincial governor.

Olympia 66 is a retail building in Xigang District of Dalian, China, designed by Aedas, which began construction in 2011. It is located on Wusi Road, one of the main commercial avenues in Dalian. When completed in 2015, Olympia 66 will have 221,900 square meters of shopping, dining and entertainment space.This shopping complex is adjacent to Dalian People's Stadium. To the east is the headquarters of the municipal government, in People's Square and Xinghai Square is to the west.The design of Olympia 66 was inspired by the Chinese twin carp emblem.
