Liliw, officially the Municipality of Liliw, , is a 4th class municipality in the province of Laguna, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 36,582 people.It is one of the highland towns forming the southern extremity of Laguna. It is situated at the foot of Mt. Banahaw. Liliw has a total land area of 3,910 hectares . It is bounded on the north-west by Sta. Cruz; north-east by Magdalena; on the east by Majayjay; on the west by Nagcarlan; and on the south by Dolores, Quezon. St. John the Baptist Parish Church , also known as Liliw Church or Lilio Church, is one of the Roman Catholic churches in Liliw, Laguna, Philippines. Its feast is celebrated every August 29 known as the Martyrdom of St. John the Baptist. The church is known for its red bricked façade and baroque style architecture. The current parish priest is Father Marciano Dijan.

2. Pagsanjan Falls Pagsanjan
Pagsanjan Falls also known as Cavinti Falls is one of the most famous waterfalls in the Philippines. Located in the province of Laguna, the falls is one of the major tourist attractions of the region. The three-drop waterfall is reached by a river trip on dugout canoe, known locally as Shooting the rapids, originating from the municipality of Pagsanjan. The falls can also be reached from the top by a short hike from Cavinti. The boat ride has been an attraction since the Spanish Colonial Era with the oldest written account in 1894. The town of Pagsanjan lies at the confluence of two rivers, the Balanac River and the Bumbungan River .

My friends and i had the chance to come back to Liliw, Laguna and explore its hidden gems! Destinations included in this video are Esmeriz Farm, Kilangin Falls, Streets of liliw and a bonus trip in Japanese Memorial Garden in Lumban, Laguna.

Best Tourist Attraction to visit in Laguna

After a visit to Hulugan Falls in Luisina Laguna, we went to Liliw Laguna to visit their historical town to see the popular St. John the Baptist Church which is made with clay bars, and to eat also a late lunch the tapang kabayo in Casa Esquinita. We also visited the underground Cemetery, unfortunately, we experience bad weather in the afternoon that's why we decided not to pursue on the other attractions near the town of Liliw and Nagcarlan.

Travel Laguna: Hot Springs in Hidden Valley Resort

Hidden Valley Springs is a tropical rainforest resort located in Alaminos, Laguna. The trip was a lot more visually appealing than I imagined it to be, there six freshwater pools running from the mountains, and there were hot pools, soda pools, and even a waterfall. Check out our vlog with Leah!
