Llanddeusant is a small linear village, on Anglesey, North Wales about 10 miles north east of Holyhead. The village takes it names from its parish church which is dedicated to St. Marcellus and Saint Marcellina. Llanddeusant is claimed to be the burial place of Branwen. It has Anglesey's only working windmill, Llynnon Mill, opened in 1775 at a cost of £550 and renovated by the local council in 1986 and opened to the public. The mill was originally located there as it lies just to the north of the Afon Alaw, and a little west of Llyn Alaw.     The red kite is a medium-large bird of prey in the family Accipitridae, which also includes many other diurnal raptors such as eagles, buzzards, and harriers. The species currently breeds in the Western Palearctic region of Europe and northwest Africa, though it formerly also occurred in northern Iran. It is resident in the milder parts of its range in western Europe and northwest Africa, but birds from northeastern and central Europe winter further south and west, reaching south to Turkey. Vagrants have reached north to Finland and south to Israel, Libya and Gambia.
