13 miles from Astoria Oregon, across the Columbia River is the Long Beach Peninsula, home to the World's Longest Beach. Lots of boardwalks for walking and biking and the amazing beach that you can drive on as far as the eye can see.
If you have never been here, it's not that far from BC and a must see. Lot's of accommodations reasonably priced and a great family destination.
