Day Trip to Maastricht - Vlog (Video Blog) Travel Netherlands
A day trip to Maastricht, we walked across the Sint-Servaas bridge overlooking the Meuse River to both Our Beloved Lady Square (Onze Lieve Vrouweplein) and Het Vrijthof. Watched the old watermill churn at The Bishop Mill bakery. Examined the Old City Wall along the Jeker River, strolled through the Stadpark to Fort Saint Peter (Fort Sint Pieter) where we missed our tour of the Limestone Caves.

We went on a day trip to Maastricht and it ended up being a lot of fun. Masstricht has so much to offer with walking bridges going over the Meuse River, Our Beloved Lady Square (Onze Lieve Vrouweplein) and Het Vrijthof. But around Christmas time this city is even more magical with Magisch Maastricht with Kerstmarkt Maastricht which is a lovely Christmas market.
