25th and 26th of Oct 2015 Road trip to Allentown and Golf at Olde Homestead Golf Club

We leave Harpers Ferry in West Virginia to head to Allentown in Pennsylvania and also Pass through Maryland. I only bothered recording a small part of the road trip as the interstate highway is a bit boring and nothing much to see.
The next day I went to play Golf at Olde Homestead Golf Club which was only 3 miles down the road from the Allentown KOA.
Olde Homestead has 134 slope rating off the back tees, 6800 yards or 6217m and has a fantastic par 72 layout with very nice fairways and greens so I was very happy to get a 79 here. I had one of those days where things went in my favor. i.e. On the 6th i pulled my drive left and hit a tree and didn't see where it finished. Then I hit a provisional ball right into trees and lost it in deep leaves, but then noticed that my first drive was in the middle of the fairway, obviously got an A grade bounce off the tree about 156m out. I then hit a 6 iron inside 3 feet and got the birdie, when it could have easily been a 9 in stroke play.
It was $60 to play 18 holes including buggy and a bucket of practice balls. Apparently they have a $200 annual membership and then you can play as much as you want for $20 per game which is unbelievable value for such a quality course.
