Millen is a city in, and the county seat of, rural Jenkins County, Georgia, United States. The population was 3,120 at the 2010 census, down from 3,492 at the 2000 census and 3,988 at the 1980 census. The city is intersected by U.S. Route 25 and State Route 17, and the proposed Interstate 3 will pass nearby.

Magnolia Springs State Park is a 1,070-acre Georgia state park located between Perkins and Millen in Jenkins County. The park was built as a project of the Civilian Conservation Corps and opened in 1939. The park is well known for its crystal clear springs that are estimated to flow 7 million US gallons per day. The park also offers unique wildlife near the springs, including alligators, turtles, and a variety of birds and fish. During the American Civil War the area that now comprises the day-use area of the park was used as a prison, and was called Camp Lawton, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. The National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force is a non-profit 501 organization with a modern extensive museum facility located in Pooler, Georgia, in the western suburbs of Savannah. It is at exit 102 of I-95. It educates visitors through the use of exhibits, artifacts, archival materials, and stories, most of which are dedicated to the history of the Eighth Air Force of the United States Army Air Corps that served in the European Theatre during World War II. The Savannah National Wildlife Refuge is a 31,551 acre National Wildlife Refuge located in Chatham and Effingham counties in Georgia and Jasper County in South Carolina. Of the total area, 15,395 acres is in Georgia and 15,263 acres is in South Carolina. The refuge was established to provide sanctuary for migratory waterfowl and other birds and as a nature and forest preserve for aesthetic and conservation purposes. The refuge is one of seven refuges administered by the Savannah Coastal Refuges Complex in Hardeeville, South Carolina. The complex has a combined staff of 25 with a fiscal year 2018 budget of roughly $3,000,000.
