Moggio Udinese is a comune in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia. It is situated in the Friuli region, in the valley of the Fella River, a right tributary of the Tagliamento. Moggio is located about 100 kilometres northwest of Trieste and about 40 kilometres north of Udine. In the north, the mountains of the Carnic Alps stretch up to the border with Austria; beyond the Fella are the Julian Alps with the Resia Valley in the southeast.
