Moggio Udinese is a comune in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia. It is situated in the Friuli region, in the valley of the Fella River, a right tributary of the Tagliamento. Moggio is located about 100 kilometres northwest of Trieste and about 40 kilometres north of Udine. In the north, the mountains of the Carnic Alps stretch up to the border with Austria; beyond the Fella are the Julian Alps with the Resia Valley in the southeast. Grotta Gigante , also known as Riesengrotte or as Grotta di Brisciachi, is a giant cave on the Italian side of the Trieste Karst , close to the village of Borgo Grotta Gigante or Briščiki in the municipality of Sgonico. Its central cavern is 107 m high, 65 m wide and 130 m long, putting it in the 1995 Guinness Book of Records as the world's largest tourist cave. This record was broken in 2010 when La Verna cave in the south west of France was opened to tourists, measuring 255 by 225 by 195 metres .

Innersight 2013: Valutazione Cjasut dal Scior Riserva Naturale della Val Alba [sub eng]

Il rifugio/bivacco Chiasut dal Scior si trova in Val Alba zona Pradis Dordolla a quota 1730m. E' raggiungibile tramite il sentiero 422 da Dordolla(Dordolla è raggiungibile in Auto) o tramite il 425 dal Rifugio Vualt(raggiungibile da Pradis ed estremamente accessibile..vedi altri video del progetto Innersight) per poi comunque trasformarsi nel 422. E' anche raggiungibile dalla forca di Vualt (1250) attraverso il 422k passando attraverso le creste a sud.
La difficoltà per accedervi è media(circa 3 ore da Dordolla e 2 ore dal rifugio Vualt)ma la vista è spettacolare.
Probabilmente uno dei migliori rifugi che possono vantare una quota così elevata(1700).
