Muscoda is a village in Grant and Iowa counties in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 1,299 at the 2010 census. Of this, 1,249 were in Grant County and 50 were in Iowa County. The Grant County part of the village is adjacent to the Town of Muscoda and the Iowa County part is adjacent to the Town of Pulaski. Muscoda is the largest village in Grant County.

Bicycling in Richland County

Richland Center, Wisconsin seems made for bicyclists, with miles of roads and trails to explore all year round.

Go on an adventure through the 350 acres of the Richland County Community Forest and the surrounding Ocooch Mountains. This area supports a diverse habitat that includes white-tail deer, wild turkeys, foxes, and river otters.

Visit the attractions created by nature, like the local caves or the Natural Bridge at Pier County Park.

Or stay closer to town and seek out the hidden treasures of Richland Center itself. With a population of 5,000, the city offers both the excitement of extreme sporting events, community art and nightlife, with the tranquility of small town living.

Bicyclists will love to explore the 10 recommended bike loops around the area. The Pine River Recreation Trail is 14.3 miles long, stretching from Richland Center down to Lone Rock! Bike on your own, or join a bike tour. Tours can be leisurely, while others offer more challenging loops, like the Ocooch Mountain Bike Tour that includes a steep, 400-foot climb.
