Needles is a city in San Bernardino County, California, United States. It lies on the western banks of the Colorado River in the Mohave Valley subregion of the Mojave Desert, near the borders of Arizona and Nevada and roughly 110 miles from the Las Vegas Strip. It is the easternmost city of the San Bernardino Metropolitan area, and is geographically isolated from other cities in the area. The city is accessible via Interstate 40 and U.S. Route 95.
