Newtown Cunningham, sometimes spelled Newtowncunningham or abbreviated to Newton , is a village in the Laggan district in the east of County Donegal, Ireland, located on the N13 road 18 km east of Letterkenny and 16 km west of Derry. The 2016 census reported a population of 1,080.

Fanad is a peninsula that lies between Lough Swilly and Mulroy Bay on the north coast of County Donegal in Ireland. The origins of the name Fanad are lost in time though there is some speculation that the name derives from an old Gaelic word Fana for sloping ground. It is also referred to as Fannet or Fannett in older records. There are an estimated 700 people living in Fanad and 30% Irish speakers. Fanad encompasses the parishes of Clondavaddog, Killygarvan and parts of Tullyfern and Aughinish. It measures approximately 25 km north-south measured from Fanad Head to the town of Ramelton and approximately 12 km east-west measured between the townlands of Doaghbeg and Glinsk. THE COONEEN GHOST HOUSE, PARANORMAL DOCUMENTRY / LIFE AFTERLIFE TV PRODUCTIONS / NORTHERN IRELAND.

THIS IS MY EXPIERANCE AS I SPEND EIGHT AND A HALF IN ONE OF THE MORE FEARED HOUSES IN IRELAND. BRIDGET MURPHY AND HER FAMILY LIVED IN THIS HOUSE FROM 1913 UNTIL 1915. DURING THIS TIME THEY EXPIERANCED SO MUCH PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, THE LOCALS ACCUSED THEM OF BEING INVOLVED WITH WITCHCRAFT. FROM POTS AND PANS BEING THROWN TO BED SHEETS FLOATING ON THE BED THE ACTIVITY GOT WORSE AS TIME WENT ON. TWO LOCAL PRIESTS , FR COYLE AND FR SMITH TRYED HELPING THE FAMILY OUT BUT THERE EFFORTS FAILED. IN 1915 THE FAMILY HAD HAD ENOUGH AND BOARDED A SHIP FROM SCOTLAND , BOUND FOR AMERICA, NEVER TO RETURN. MANY PEOPLE HAVE COME TO VISIT THE HOUSE AND PARANORMAL INVESTIGATORS REGULARY COME TO INVESTIGATE THE HOUSE. IT IS COMMON TO HEAR FOOTSTEPS UP IN THE ATTIC WHEN NO ONE IS UP THERE. OTHER ACTIVITY SUCH AS SUDDEN BATTERY DRAINING AND EQUIPMENT MALFUNTION IS ALSO COMMON AND PEOPLE HAVE ALSO BEEN PHYSICALLY SICK AT THIS LOCATION. OVER THE YEARS, THE HOUSE HAS FALLEN INTO A DANGEROUS STATE AND ITS JUST A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THE HOUSE WILL COLLAPSE.
