Nha Trang is a coastal resort city in southern Vietnam known for its beaches, diving sites and offshore islands. Its main beach is a long, curving stretch along Tran Phu Street backed by a promenade, hotels and seafood restaurants. Aerial cable cars cross over to Hòn Tre Island, and the nature reserves of Hòn Mun and Hòn Tằm islands, reachable by boat, have coral reefs.
A hotel is an establishment that provides paid lodging on a short-term basis. Facilities provided may range from a modest-quality mattress in a small room to large suites with bigger, higher-quality beds, a dresser, a refrigerator and other kitchen facilities, upholstered chairs, a flat screen television, and en-suite bathrooms. Hotel rooms are usually numbered (or named in some smaller hotels and B&Bs) to allow guests to identify their room. Some boutique, high-end hotels have custom decorated rooms. Some hotels offer meals as part of a room and board arrangement. In the United Kingdom, a hotel is required by law to serve food and drinks to all guests within certain stated hours.[citation needed] In Japan, capsule hotels provide a tiny room suitable only for sleeping and shared bathroom facilities.

Description of Nha Trang:
Nha Trang, also known as the Riviera of the South China Sea, offers a six-kilometre stretch of beautiful coastline with white sandy beaches, clear waters with an abundance of marine life and thriving reefs, verdant mountain ranges at each end, as well as 19 untouched islets that are just a short boat ride away. Offering a myriad of sightseeing and recreational activities, the coastal town itself is steeped with breath-taking structures that date back to the Champa Kingdom, Buddhist temples, and gothic-style Catholic churches, as well as natural hot springs, salt fields, and unique waterfalls.
Five Cool Facts About Nha Trang:
1. The Nha Trang was only a small fishing village until the 1970s and the name “Nha Trang” is believed to originate from “Ya Trang”, meaning Reed River, in Cham language.
2. The Vinpearl Cable Car is the longest over-water cable car in the world (3320 meters). Remember to try it when you want to visit Vinpearl Land and prepare to be amazed by the feeling of floating and looking at the poetic landscape from the height of 60 meters.
3. The beautiful Nha Trang Bay was acknowledged by Travel & Leisure as one of 29 most beautiful bays in the world for two consecutive years.
4. The city is often called the scuba diving centre of Vietnam. Scuba diving and snorkeling were first introduced to Vietnam in Nha Trang.
5. Historically, the city was known as Kauthara under the Champa and you can still see the last remnants of that time in the form of the Po Nagar Tower of Champa in Nha Trang.
