HIDDEN TREASURE in South Carolina - Exploring Hanging Rock Historic Site
We found one of South Carolina's hidden treasures when we explored the Hanging Rock Historical Site near Heath Springs in Lancaster County. Tremendous boulders once sheltered British troops in a then remote area of South Carolina. It was 1780 and the America Revolutionary War was raging throughout the colonies as America struggled to win independence from the British Crown.
