Ömnögovi is an aimag of Mongolia, located in the south of the country, in the Gobi Desert. Ömnögovi is Mongolia's largest aimag. The capital is Dalanzadgad. The province is rich in mineral deposits, including gold and copper. Agriculture is of minor importance. Vegetables are grown in some oases, e.g. in Dal near Dalanzadgad. As the aimag has various sights to offer, tourism is gaining importance. Ömnögovi includes several well known tourist areas, including the Flaming Cliffs, Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park and Khongoryn Els - The Singing Sand Dunes.

1. Flaming Cliffs Omnogovi Province
The Flaming Cliffs site, also known as Bayanzag, sometimes Bain-Dzak, , with the alternative Mongolian name of Mongolian: Улаан Эрэг , is a region of the Gobi Desert in the Ömnögovi Province of Mongolia, in which important fossil finds have been made. It was given this name by American paleontologist Roy Chapman Andrews, who visited in the 1920s. The area is most famous for yielding the first discovery of dinosaur eggs. Other finds in the area include specimens of Velociraptor and eutherian mammals. It is illegal to remove fossils from the area without appropriate permits.The nickname refers to the red or orange color of the sandstone cliffs ,.

Grassland of Mongolia Tosonkhulstai

Toson Hulstai natural reserve is located in North-Eastern Mongolia, in a transition zone between forest steppe and grassland ecosystems. The area is designated as a Natural Reserve to protect the low mountains, rolling hills, and dry steppe ecosystems that are the habitat for the Mongolian gazelle and other wildlife.
Toson Hulstai natural reserve encompasses parts of Bayan-Ovoo and Norovlin soums of Khentii province, and, Bayantumen, Tsagaan ovoo and Holonbuir soums of Dornod province. The natural reserve is officially managed by the Eastern Mongolian Protected Areas Administration headquartered in Choibalsan.

Access to the reserve by car is possible year-round due to the area's smooth topography and close proximity to the main road leading to the cities of Ulaanbaatar, Ondorkhaan and Choibalsan. The western border of the reserve is located about 500 km from Ulaanbaatar, while the eastersn border is about 50 km from the town of Choibalsan.
