Just Off Main Street
A community's Main Street is the beating heart of its town. It's the city's center, it's full of history, and it's a gathering spot for residents and visitors alike. In Wisconsin, Main Street communities are known for being friendly, charming and authentic, with unique personalities that set them apart from one another. And sometimes, the best adventures to be had are found 'Just off Main Street.' In this episode of Discover Wisconsin, we explore the communities of Osceola, Florence, Whitewater and Omro. Hosts Mariah Haberman and Marie Justice step off the beaten path to discover the beauty, history, and fun that these Main Street communities offer visitors. From a Scenic National Riverway, to remote waterfalls of the Northwoods, there are so many things that will surprise you about these places - and they're just down the road!
Lake and Forest Aerial - Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest
In the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, east of Eagle River and Three Lakes Wisconsin, in are many small lakes tucked away among the trees. This aerial video was taken in November when the leaves are of the trees and nearly all the campers have migrated south for the winter.

The Best National Forest Campsite I've ever Used
This National Forest campsite is pure magic. I took this video of it during the RepubliKKKan Party government shutdown. I've only been able to get this site one time in years of trying. Why do I like it so much?
The campground itself is relatively secluded and is surrounded by high mountains. The are is also packed with wonderful hiking trails, lots of high-quality waterfalls, and plenty of wildlife. This site is very large and on the water. There is only one other campsite beside it, and there is ample space and vegetation separating the two. Despite the fact that we were raided one night by a large black bear at this campsite, it remains the best National Forest site I've ever used.
