Oud-Turnhout is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the town of Oud-Turnhout proper. On January 1, 2006 Oud-Turnhout had a total population of 12,653. The total area is 38.80 km² which gives a population density of 326 inhabitants per km². There are 3 parishes: Zwaneven in the east, St. Bavo in the centre and Oosthoven in the North. Zwaneven is in the upmarket residential area referred to as De Lint, where many Dutch people live. Bobbejaanland is a theme park in Lichtaart, Belgium. The park was founded by Bobbejaan Schoepen, a Flemish singer, guitarist, and entertainer who enjoyed international popularity in the fifties and early sixties. In 1959 he bought a 30 hectare marsh, had it drained and built a 1000 capacity venue that opened in December 1961 as Bobbejaanland. This developed into an amusement park and remained in his possession until he sold it in 2004.

The Musée Hergé, or Hergé Museum, is a museum in Belgium dedicated to the life and work of the Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi , who wrote under the pen name Hergé, creator of the series of comic albums, The Adventures of Tintin. The museum is located in the town of Louvain-la-Neuve in Wallonia to the south of Brussels at the address, Rue Labrador 26, Tintin's first home in the books. It was designed by the French architect Christian de Portzamparc, with interiors designed by cartoonist Joost Swarte. The first stone was laid May 2007 during the centenary of Hergé's birth and it opened in June 2009. It consists of three floors with a total of nine exhibition rooms, and a café, museum shop and mini cinema.

Walibi Belgium, formerly Walibi Wavre and then Six Flags Belgium, is a Belgian theme park located in Wavre, close to Brussels. During the 1998 to 2004 period, it was owned by Six Flags, Inc, an American theme park operator. It was later sold to Palamon Capital Partners. As of 2006, the park is owned and operated, along with Paris' Parc Astérix, by CDA Parks . The Walibi name comes from the mix of Wavre, Limal and Bièrges, three towns in the Belgian province of Walloon Brabant, where the park is situated.

Belgium: The Beguine Convent of Turnhout

The Beguine Convent of Turnhout is one of the Flemish beguinages that is recorded in 1998 on the World Heritage List.
From the Beguine Convent of Turnhout no exact foundation date is known, but it was probably founded in the 13th century.
The early classical gatehouse and the elongated tree-lined square characterize this Beguine Convent. There is a well-preserved baroque church, infirmary and houses from the 16th and 17th centuries.
The last beguine, Grand Mistress Anna De Boer, died in 2002.
There is a museum where one can get to know more about the culture of the Beguines.

In the old situation, a traffic light was located on this motorway to connect Moerbeke and Kruisstraat to the E34 road. As the speed limit is 120 km/h here, this dangerous situation was 'solved' by building this rollercoaster interchange with an overpass and two large roundabouts. Sadly, not only have they forgotten to delete the old pedestrian crossing, in order to travel from the direction Kruisstraat to the direction Antwerpen, one has to complete a figure of '8'.

3 dagen verken ik de Schotse Hooglanden. De stad Inverness wordt ook wel de hoofdstad van de hooglanden genoemd, vanuit daar ga ik hiken, dolfijnen spotten met een RIB, kanoën, fietsen, een cruise maken over Loch Ness, whiskey proeven en natuurlijk.... de kilt van een heuse Schot omhoog tillen...
