Pall Mall is a small unincorporated community in the Wolf River valley of Fentress County, Tennessee, United States. Pall Mall is located near the Kentucky-Tennessee state-line in northeastern-central Tennessee. The population was at 1,398 people according to the 2000 census.

1. Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo Horse Cave
Kentucky Down Under is an Australia-themed animal park located in Horse Cave, Kentucky, United States. In 1990, the park was opened by Bill and Judy Austin to the public. Bill Austin was manager of Mammoth Onyx Cave , which his grandfather had purchased in the 1920s. Peacocks and other small animals had been added to the park for visitors to enjoy on the surface in-between cave tours. A herd of American bison was added in the 1970s, followed by the Australian animals in 1990, and the park renamed to Kentucky Down Under.

2. Cumberland Gap National Historical Park Middlesboro
The Cumberland Gap is a narrow pass through the long ridge of the Cumberland Mountains, within the Appalachian Mountains, near the junction of the U.S. states of Kentucky, Virginia, and Tennessee. Famous in American colonial history for its role as a key passageway through the lower central Appalachians, it was an important part of the Wilderness Road and is now part of the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park. Long used by Native Americans, the Cumberland Gap was brought to the attention of settlers in 1750 by Thomas Walker, a Virginia physician and explorer. The path was used by a team of frontiersmen led by Daniel Boone, making it accessible to pioneers who used it to journey into the western frontiers of Kentucky and Tennessee.

Fall Creek Falls State Resort Park is a state park in Van Buren and Bledsoe counties, in the U.S. state of Tennessee. The over 26,000-acre park is centered on the upper Cane Creek Gorge, an area known for its unique geological formations and scenic waterfalls. The park's namesake is the 256-foot Fall Creek Falls, the highest free-fall waterfall east of the Mississippi River.

While on vacation at Zenith, my family took me to Pall Mall,Tennessee. The home of Sgt.Alvin Cullum York. We started out at the welcome center where they showed a video which I was not allowed to record. Then we went across the road to the Sgt.York's house. A tour guide, also one of York's sons, is heard talking in the background & is seen later.

This beautiful acreage is located on lonesome valley rd approximately 3 miles from where the road dead ends at a public boat launch on Norris Lake.
The property has over 850 feet of road frontage; there is a year round spring, a couple of beautiful rock formations and an old logging road in the center of the acreage.
We go up and spend several weeks per year camping on the land and working to make it more comfortable. We have built a very nice and sturdy 16 X 16 cabin that is complete on the outside but not finished on the inside yet. Most of the land is quit steep but there is what I would guess to be 4 acres of flat to rolling land up top facing south that would be a wonderful home site if you put in a road. There are power lines close to this area.
I am not a hunter but have seen large flocks of wild turkey (approximately 25) on the property.
There is some marketable timber on the property but to me it’s just too pretty to cut. I was told it was select cut about twenty-five years ago.
When your on the property it seems your hundreds of miles from anything yet there is lumber, hardware, groceries, banks, restaurants and Wal-Mart less than ten miles away.

Flat Rock on Sewanee Creek, TN

This is one of my favorite places in The Village on Sewanee Creek. It's located about 800' straight down off the bluff in a common area on Sewanee Creek.
It's a favorite destination of locals as well, who get there any way they can - mostly on 4-wheelers or jeeps.
