    Promised Land State Park is a Pennsylvania state park in Blooming Grove, Greene and Palmyra Townships, Pike County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. The approximately 3,000-acre park is mostly surrounded by Delaware State Forest. It is in the Poconos and sits at an elevation of 1,800 feet . The second growth forests in Promised Land State Park are made up of beech, maple, oak and hemlock trees. There are two lakes within the boundaries of the park. Promised Land State Park is 10 miles north of Canadensis on Pennsylvania Route 390. Promised Land State Park was chosen by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and its Bureau of State Parks as one of 25 Must-See Pennsylvania State Parks.

    Zern's Farmers Market was a year-round farmers' market located in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania. It sits along Philadelphia Avenue near Bartman Avenue, close to Pennsylvania Route 100. Two buildings are located on the property: a lowercase t shaped main building and an L shaped enclosed flea market building. When weather permits, outdoor vending areas are set up in the space between the edifices in an area known affectionately as the Midway. The main building is heated during winter, and utilizes a fan-circulation and heat extraction system during the warmer months of the year.
