1. Orgrodzieniec
In the 14th century, the family of Sulimczyk decided to build the castle of Ogrodzieniec. Meanwhile a remarkable structure in the Prime, the Fort began to collapse in the 19th century. After World War II, the steps taken to prevent a total collapse of the Castle. These days, you might recognize the Ogrodzieniec Castle, because of the iconic structure has functioned as a backdrop for many things, including Iron Maiden music video in 1984.
2. Niedzica
In the 13th century, the castle of Niedzica was built on the southernmost part of Poland. It lies at an elevation of significant, indicating it was used for military purposes as well as a private residence. Currently, Niedzica Castle is known not only for its historic architecture. Tour of the Castle, you can wear the traditional monk robes and dinner in an authentic medieval feast, using only your hands and tools of ancient wood instead of metal cutting tools.

Between the 13th and 15th century, Malbork Castle was built by the Knights of the Teutonic order. The castle itself is not only meant to be a private residence: this also serves as a fortress. As a result, Malbork Castle is huge and has now become one of the largest medieval castles in Europe. The Gothic Castle is situated on a peninsula between the two rivers, making it a fantastic place to defense. Every year, the Castle plays host to reworking the battle of Grunwald, a significant battle occurred in 1410.
4. Wewel
When Krakow served as the capital of Poland, Wawel Royal Castle was the residence of the Dukes of Poland. From the 14th century to the 18th century, Wawel Royal Castle is the home of the Kings are countless. Built on a cliff called the Wawel Hill, the Castle offers stunning views of the city below. Today, Wawel Royal Castle serves as a museum where you can see the jewel of the Kingdom of Poland and other important artifacts.
5. Ksiaz
Ksiaz is the third largest castle in Poland, also known as the Pearl of Upper Silesia. Founded in the 13th century, Ksiaz has experienced a regime change are countless and has been the site of many historic treaty. Everyone from the czars and Russia United Kingdom high officials have been staying in this historic castle. Today, Ksiaz Castle offers several guided tours daily, and there are even many restaurants inside the walls of the Castle where you can dine surrounded by art and centuries-old architecture.
