As Alabama Splash Adventure opens its gates for the 2018, we look back at the great construction progress the park has made in recent weeks leading up to the park's opening weekend. Alabama Splash Adventure unveils the largest expansion in park history during opening weekend with plenty of nearby room for even more expansion. During our latest visit to the park this off-season, the staff at Alabama Splash Adventure gave us permission to fly all over the park, getting a sneak peek at what is new for 2018 and what could be coming in the years to come! In this video, crews are putting final touches on the new dry rides while nearing completion of the park's new children's water play and slide area, the high dive show area, and so much more!
The 2018 season will be filled with great excitement, and the park guests will have even more to enjoy! For amusement park and water park goers in the southeast and for those who travel across the United States to enjoy various park experiences, you'll want to set aside one day to swing by and enjoy at Alabama Splash Adventure!

Where is a good tent camping destination in North Alabama? Well, there are several but Monte Sano State Park located near Huntsville is one of the best. The campground has 89 large crushed-stone campsites that can accomodate both RVs and tents, two nice bath houses, and 18 extra large primitive campsites. The cool mountain top location offers over 20 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, beautiful scenic views, a disc golf course, a large playground, dozens of CCC structures, and an observatory.
Cheaha State Park Camping Trip!
We visited Cheaha State Park in Alabama, and had a great time! We brought the kids and some friends from the UK and showed them the mountains on our side of the pond! A great summer trip.
