Prince William County is a county on the Potomac River in the Commonwealth of Virginia in the United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 402,002, on 1 July 2015, the population was estimated to be 451,721, making it Virginia's second-most populous county. Its county seat is the independent city of Manassas.A part of Northern Virginia, Prince William County is part of the Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, DC-VA-MD-WV Metropolitan Statistical Area. In 2012 it had the seventh highest income of any county in the United States.

The Gettysburg Museum and Visitor Center is the Gettysburg National Military Park facility, with a museum about the American Civil War, the 1884 Gettysburg Cyclorama, and the tour center for licensed Battlefield Guides and for buses to see the Gettysburg Battlefield and Eisenhower National Historic Site. The museum displays artifacts including cannon, firearms, and uniforms, and includes an exhibit gallery and theater. Additional facilities are a computer resource room, a bookstore with gifts, and a restaurant.

This 18-acre interactive museum was founded in 1965 on Navy Point, once a site of seafood packing houses, docks, and work boats. Today, the Museum houses the world's largest collection of Chesapeake Bay boats and provides interactive exhibits in and around the 35 buildings which dot the campus. Manassas, Virginia, USA

My visit at Manassas National Battlefield Park, Virginia, on the 13th of September, 2015. I remember I had some problems in driving from one place to the another, due to the not so clear road signs but the place is fantastic.
The so called Manassas Campaign was a series of military engagements in the Eastern Theater of the American Civil War: Hoke's Run, Blackburn's Ford, First Bull Run (Manassas) and Second Bull Run (Manassas).
At First Bull Run (Manassas) Thomas Jonathan Jackson, Confederate Brigadier General, rose to prominence and earned his most famous nickname Stonewall. After the battle, Jackson was promoted to Major General.
