Munster is one of the provinces of Ireland situated in the south of Ireland. In early Ireland, the Kingdom of Munster was one of the kingdoms of Gaelic Ireland ruled by a king of over-kings . Following the Norman invasion of Ireland, the ancient kingdoms were shired into counties for administrative and judicial purposes. In later centuries, local government legislation has seen further sub-division of the historic counties. Munster has no official function for local government purposes.   • 3. Kerry Camino Tralee
    The Kerry Camino is a walk modelled on the Camino de Santiago in Northern Spain. It follows a route from Tralee to Dingle along the spine of the Dingle Peninsula which has some of the most dramatic scenery and coastline in Ireland. The route purportedly follows a path taken by Saint Brendan, at present the route begins at the St. Johns Roman Catholic Church in Tralee and ends at St. James Church of Ireland in Dingle. There are plans to extend the route in future years.
