Rathangan is a town in the west of County Kildare, Ireland, with a population of 2,374. It is located 65 km from the centre of Dublin, and 14 km from Kildare, at the intersection of the R401, R414, and R419 regional roads. The Slate River and the Grand Canal run through the town. Rathangan is situated beside the Bog of Allen, and is in close proximity to the lowlands of the Curragh. In recent years, the town has grown significantly to become a big commuter base for people working in Dublin.

Lullymore is a village in County Kildare in Ireland. Loilgheach Mór translates as a good place for a cow to calve. It is also a civil parish in the ancient barony of Offaly East. The lowest observed 20th century air temperature in Ireland, -18.8 °C was measured at Lullymore on 2 January 1979

Brú na Bóinne or Boyne valley tombs, is an area in County Meath, Ireland, located in a bend of the River Boyne. It contains one of the world's most important prehistoric landscapes dating from the Neolithic period, including the large Megalithic passage graves of Knowth, Newgrange and Dowth as well as some 90 additional monuments. The archaeological culture associated with these sites is called the Boyne culture. Since 1993 the site has been a World Heritage Site designated by UNESCO, known since 2013 as Brú na Bóinne - Archaeological Ensemble of the Bend of the Boyne.
