Renovo is a borough in Clinton County, Pennsylvania, United States, 28 miles northwest of Lock Haven. In 1900, 4,082 people lived there, and in 1910, 4,621 lived there, but in the 2010 census the borough population was 1,228.The borough is located on the West Branch Susquehanna River, and along Pennsylvania's Bucktail State Park Natural Area, centered on Pennsylvania Route 120, which winds through the surrounding mountains following the river. The park is 6 miles east of Renovo and 3 miles north of Hyner on Pennsylvania Route 120 . Hyner View State Park is surrounded by Sproul State Forest. Hyner View State Park is 5 miles from Hyner Run State Park and is administered from there. The lookout area is bordered by a large stone wall that was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Great Depression. The current access road from Hyner Run State park was built in 1949 . The Kinzua Bridge or the Kinzua Viaduct was a railroad trestle that spanned Kinzua Creek in McKean County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The bridge was 301 feet tall and 2,052 feet long. Most of its structure collapsed during a tornado in 2003. The bridge was originally built from wrought iron in 1882 and was billed as the Eighth Wonder of the World, holding the record as the tallest railroad bridge in the world for two years. In 1900, the bridge was dismantled and simultaneously rebuilt out of steel to allow it to accommodate heavier trains. It stayed in commercial service until 1959 and was sold to the Government of Pennsylvania in 1963, becoming the centerpiece of a state park.
