  • 1. Archibald Smith Plantation Home Roswell Georgia
    The Archibald Smith Plantation Home is a historic house in Roswell, Georgia built in 1845. The home was built by one of Roswell's founders, Archibald Smith, and housed three generations of his family. The home was restored by the third generation, Arthur and Mary Smith, in 1940. The home was sold to the City of Roswell in 1986 and opened to the public as a house museum in 1991. In addition to the home, the grounds include a guest house, slave quarters, cookhouse, carriage house, barn, spring house and water well. The plantation was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

    Barrington Hall is an 1839 Greek Revival-style mansion built as the residence of Barrington King who, along with his father Roswell King, was the founder of the town of Roswell, in northern Fulton County, Georgia. The house was designed by Willis Ball. It was held by the family until 1995 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Ranked as one of the 50 Most Beautiful Homes in Metro Atlanta by Atlanta magazine, the mansion has been fully restored and furnished with many period and family pieces. It is owned and operated as a house museum by the City of Roswell. A variety of events for families are held at the mansion and on the grounds throughout the year, as well as daily tours of the house.

    The Britannia's Fist Trilogy is an alternate history series by Peter G. Tsouras about an Anglo-French intervention into the American Civil War in 1863 on the Confederate side as well as a Russian intervention on the Union side and the global repercussions of such a conflict. The first and second volumes, Britannia's Fist: From Civil War to World War and A Rainbow of Blood: the Union in Peril, were released relatively close together in 2008 and 2010 respectively. The final volume, Bayonets, Balloons & Ironclads: Britain and France take sides with the South, was released in 2015 and does not feature the extensive casualty reports seen in the first two novels.
