    Tuaran is the capital of the Tuaran District in the West Coast Division of Sabah, Malaysia. Its population was estimated to be around 3,253 in 2010, with half the population consists of ethnic Dusuns, mostly of the Lotud ethnic subgroup as well of Bajau descent. The remainder are mostly of the Malaysian Chinese community, particularly from the Hakka subgroup and Malay. The town is bordered on three sides by the eponymous river. It is located 34 kilometres north of the state capital Kota Kinabalu, and is strategically situated along the main highway linking Kota Kinabalu with the north of Sabah.

The company feature a 199-hectare cattle dairy farm at Mesilau in Kundasang, with an estimate 150,000 litres fresh milk produced each month, as well a cattle feedlot for meat production in Lok Kawi and Penampang with young cattle from the farm are fed with specially formulated feed to average 420 kg weight before being slaughtered at Meat Technology Centre.

The farm covering an area of 199-hectare and has been frequently dubbed as Sabah's Little New Zealand with geographic panorama scenery view almost looked like in the latter country; as well with its cow breed of Holstein Friesian which is imported from the country.
