Balaklava is a former city on the Crimean Peninsula and part of the city of Sevastopol. It was a city in its own right until 1957 when it was formally incorporated into the municipal borders of Sevastopol by the Soviet government. It also is an administrative center of Balaklava Raion that used to be part of the Crimean Oblast before it was transferred to Sevastopol Municipality. Population: 18,649 .

Nikita is an urban-type settlement in Yalta Municipality of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, a territory recognized by a majority of countries as part of Ukraine and incorporated by Russia as the Republic of Crimea. It is known for the Nikitsky Botanical Garden named after the settlement. Population: 2,257 .Originally it was a village of Nikita owned by a landowner Smirnov, bought by the state in 1811 for the creation of the botanical garden. During the times of the Soviet Union the settlement was renamed into Botanicheskoye . The name was restored after the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

The City of Yalta (Ukrainian and Russian: Я́лта; Crimean Tatar: Yalta) is a resort city on the south coast of the Crimean Peninsula surrounded by the Black Sea. It serves as the administrative center of Yalta Municipality, one of the regions within Crimea.
The city is located on the site of an ancient Greek colony, said to have been founded by the Greek conquerors who were looking for a safe shore (γιαλός – yalos in Greek) on which to land. It is situated on a deep bay facing south towards the Black Sea, surrounded by the mountain range Ai-Petri. It has a warm humid subtropical climate and surrounded by numerous vineyards and orchards.

Феодо́сия (укр. Феодосія, крымско-тат. Кефе, Kefe) — город в Крыму, на юго-восточном побережье Чёрного моря. Образует городской округ Феодосия (Феодосийский горсовет). Город воинской славы (с 2015 г.)
Город был основан греческими колонистами из Милета в VI веке до н. э. С 355 года до н. э. Феодосия входила в состав Боспорского царства. Разрушен гуннами в IV веке н. э. В этот период в городе и окрестностях жили аланы, и поселение получило аланское название Ардабда (осет. «Авд-арди») — в переводе «семибожная». В V веке город перешёл под контроль Римской (Византийской) империи, в VI веке был захвачен хазарами, а затем вновь отошёл к Византии. На протяжении следующих веков существовал как небольшое селение, попавшее в XIII веке под влияние Золотой Орды. Впоследствии выкуплен генуэзскими купцами.
Генуэзцы создали процветающий торговый портовый город Каффа, который служил главным портом и центром управления всех генуэзских колоний в Северном Причерноморье. В этот период город переживал свой расцвет. Население города превышало 70 тысяч человек, в городе действовали филиал банка св. Георгия и театр. Имелся свой монетный двор, где чеканились монеты. Генуэзцы поддерживали союзнические отношения с золотоордынскими ханами, которые формально являлись верховными владетелями территорий колоний, предоставляя им полное самоуправление в стенах городов, и назначая особого префекта из уроженцев Крыма для управления сельским округом кафинских владений.
К середине XV века Каффа превзошла по размерам Константинополь; среди многонационального населения преобладали армяне.
В 1475 году Каффа вместе со всеми генуэзскими владениями была завоевана османскими войсками, во главе которых стоял полководец Гедик Ахмед-паша.
Кефе (так турки называли Каффу) стал одним из главных турецких портов на Чёрном море, здесь находился крупнейший в Северном Причерноморье невольничий рынок, где ежегодно продавались тысячи невольников, захваченных крымскими татарами во время набегов на польские и русские города и селения. В 1616 году казаки Войска Запорожского под руководством гетмана Петра Сагайдачного штурмом взяли турецкую крепость Кафу, разгромили 14-тысячный турецкий гарнизон и освободили пленных.
В 1771 году русские войска взяли Феодосию приступом; в 1783 году Екатерина II своим манифестом включила весь Крым в состав России; в 1784 году полуостров был включён в состав Таврической области, в 1787 году, во время своего известного путешествия в Крым, его посетила императрица Екатерина II.

В первый раз немецкие войска заняли Феодосию в ноябре 194. 26—30 декабря в порту Феодосии был высажен крупный десант Красной Армии. На три недели город вновь стал советским. 18 января 1942 года город был вновь занят немецкими войсками.
Окончательно Феодосия была освобождена 13 апреля 1944 года в ходе общего наступления Красной Армии.
Во время оккупации было расстреляно более 8000 феодосийцев, в том числе все евреи города (3248 человек).
В 1954 году Феодосия в составе Крымской области была передана Украинской ССР. В начале 1970-х город получил статус курорта.
