Sewanee is a census-designated place in Franklin County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 2,311 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Tullahoma, Tennessee Micropolitan Statistical Area. Sewanee is best known as the home of The University of the South, commonly known as Sewanee.

Sewanee: The University of the South, also known as Sewanee, is a private, residential, coeducational liberal arts college located in Sewanee, Tennessee, United States. It is owned by 28 southern dioceses of the Episcopal Church, and its School of Theology is an official seminary of the church. The university's School of Letters offers graduate degrees in American Literature and Creative Writing. The campus consists of 13,000 acres of scenic mountain property atop the Cumberland Plateau, with the developed portion occupying about 1,000 acres . The school was ranked 41st in the 2017 U.S. News & World Report list of liberal arts colleges. In 2016, Forbes ranked it 94th on its list of Top Colleges in the United States. Sewanee is a member of the Associated Colleges of the South.

This part of Chattanooga’s series of award-winning commercials “takes you there” through the magic of tilt-shift, time-lapse photography.

Places and attractions featured (in order): Head of the Hooch rowing competition on the Tennessee River; Walnut Street Bridge climbing wall; Yoga in the Tennessee Aquarium Plaza; Golf at the Chattanooga Golf and Country Club; Kayaking at Lula Lake Land Trust; Tennessee River Gorge Explorer; Tennessee Riverwalk; paddleboard races at the Riverfront; RVR ROX adventure sports festival and mountain biking on Lookout Mountain.

Foster Falls & Denny Cove Falls, Tennessee

Footage taken using a GoPro Hero 7 Black on a Karma Grip in January 2019 in Tennessee. We hiked the Climber's Loop at Foster Falls, which is part of the greater South Cumberland State Park. Afterwards, we hiked the newest (2017) edition of the South Cumberland State Park trail system, Denny Cove. It rained on us, but the waterfalls were quite beautiful. And the mist created a much different atmosphere than you'd get in the summer months.

*sorry for the dark scenes in the beginning. It was just after sunrise, when we arrived. And I did not properly set the iso high enough.
