Sinking Spring is a borough in Berks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 4,008 at the 2010 census. Sinking Spring was given its name for a spring located in the center of town. The water in this spring would sink into the ground from time to time, giving the illusion that it had disappeared.

Knoebels Amusement Resort is a family-owned and operated amusement park, picnic grove, and campground in Elysburg, Pennsylvania. It is and has been America's largest free-admission park for 91 years of operation. Opened in 1926, the park has more than 60 rides, three wooden roller coasters, one steel roller coaster, a 1913 carousel, and a haunted house dark ride. The park and its rides have won awards from organizations such as Amusement Today, American Coaster Enthusiasts, and the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. In 2014, Travel Channel rated Knoebels one of their Top 10 Family Friendly Amusement Parks in the United States. This property was hit really bad by Hurricane Ivan in 2004 and again by Hurricane Wilma in 2005, and suffered damages from unimaginable amounts of flooding.
The owners have since been involved with extensive clean up and repair work to get the building back into shape. They plan to reopen soon, but have yet to announce an official date.

In this video we are exploring Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Site/Park in Hodgenville, Kentucky, USA

Abraham Lincoln was a President of the United States. President Lincoln was the 16th person to take the position.

This site is called the Lincoln birthplace because it was the site where Abraham Lincoln was born. There is a cabin onsite where he was born.

We went on several hiking trails here as well including the boundary oak trail, the sinking spring and the big sink trail.

Carnival Dream Onboard Flood Clean Up and Refund Update A Job Well Done! The Carnival Dream cruise ship had a flood onboard it's 7 day Western Caribbean cruise this week, but swift action by the crew has minimized the flooded area and the clean up is almost done. The cruise line stepped up to assist the passengers in the 50 cabins that were affected by the flood by offering them a full refund for their cruise, a 50% credit against their next cruise and they were offered a free hotel stay and free flights home from Cozumel Mexico. The ship will return to it's home port of New Orleans tomorrow May 6th 2018 and it is expected to leave on time for it's next cruise.

Live Cruise Ship News: Norwegian Royal Caribbean Norwegian Stocks Plunge The trade war, higher oil prices, higher US dollar, higher interest rates and weaker Caribbean bookings are all causing concern in the stock market and the shares of the big 3 cruise line companies. Carnival shares dropped $4.99 or 7.85%, Royal Caribbean shares fell $6.16 or 5.52% and Norwegian shares fell off by $3.19 or 6.14% The dow 30 industrial index was off by 328 points or 1.33%. Thing are not looking better going forward as the US and China are stepping up their tariffs on each other.

The Quantum of the Seas is being moved in Nov 2019 to Singapore from Shanghai. Free Drink Packages are now being offered by a few cruise lines to stir up business. Celebrity, MSC, Norwegian Cruise Lines, and Oceania are all offering this and other inducements to get passengers to commit to a cruise sooner rather than later.
