03-10-2018: Lake Como: Trip Novate Mezzola – San Siro (by GoPro)
EN// If the towns along Lake Como are worthy of being shared, the roads we have traveled between those locations as well. We decided to publish the images captured by GoPro for those who want to enjoy them.
This video is images of the route between Novate Mezzola (Sondrio) and San Siro, excerpt from the journey between Novate Mezzola and Cadenabbia. Trip always with the background sunset, passing through several locations and with some homecoming traffic at the end of the day. Passing through some tunnels we shortened the images.

Places to see in ( Bellagio - Italy )
Places to see in ( Bellagio - Italy )
Bellagio is a village on a promontory jutting out into Lake Como, in Italy. It’s known for its cobbled lanes, elegant buildings and Villa Serbelloni Park, an 18th-century terraced garden with lake views. Nearby are the Tower of the Arts, a venue for exhibitions and performances, and the Romanesque San Giacomo Church. Close to rocky Loppia Beach, the Museum of Navigational Instruments displays sundials and compasses.
Bellagio is one of the most attractively-situated of the lake resorts, and it is a pleasant place to ramble, explore or simply potter. Passenger ferries stop alongside a tree-lined waterfront. Across the road is a lovely arcade where cafes and restaurants afford shade and shelter from the elements. This is a good place to come for an aperitivo or after-dinner drink. Walking to the right as you disembark from the boat, you'll find more 'touristy' cafes - the types of place where you can sit in the afternoon on a lakeside terrace with a big fancy ice-cream and watch the boats passing by. A little further along in this direction you'll pass the car-ferry departure point, the historic Hotel Grand Bretagne which is currently abandoned and falling into disrepair, and then reach a pretty lakeside promenade. A few minutes further on, you come to one of the two gardens open to the public, Villa Melzi (see below for more information on the gardens).
From the central waterfront, stepped and cobbled lanes rise up the hill in a tight little network separating the lakeshore from the town's main street, Via Garibaldi. This is a pretty lane where you'll find more shops, cafes and also Bellagio's main town square, Piazza San Giacomo, or Piazza della Chiesa. The square is dominated by the town church, the Romanesque Basilica di San Giacomo, which is worth a visit for its frescoes and statues. Externally you can admire the attractive bell-tower and elegant apse. On the opposite side of the square is a medieval tower, once part of Bellagio's now-disappeared defences and now a tourist office where you can buy tickets and rendez-vous for the tours of Villa Serbelloni's gardens (highly recommended; see below). The fountain in the centre of the piazza is said to have been originally commissioned by a resident Englishman for his garden to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.
Villa Serbelloni is a large, grand building on the slopes of the Bellagio promontory. The villa's grounds enclose the wooded hill behind the town, which dominates the headland and the centre of Lake Como. The villa building isn't open to the public, but the gardens and grounds can be visited on organised tours, which take place twice a day. Tickets are sold before the commencement of the tour at the Promo Bellagio office in the little medieval tower in Bellagio's main square, opposite the church. Numbers are restricted, so turn up promptly. Up-to-date info can be found on the tourist board website. At the time of writing tours run April-early November Tuesday-Sunday at 11am and 3.30pm, weather permitting, and cost €8.50 per person (small discount for National Trust members).
The garden of Villa Melzi doesn't have the same historic significance as Villa Serbelloni, but it is a very pretty sloping garden along the lakeshore and is worth visiting if you are spending time in Bellagio. The villa was built for a nobleman of the Napoleonic era, and various mementoes related to the times are collected in the little orangery museum, along with church frescoes and archaeological oddments. Two of the prettiest features of the garden are a little blue-roofed pavilion at the water's edge (one of the landmarks of this shore), and a shady water garden. There are entrances at both ends of the garden, close to the waterfront, and one of the walking-tour leaflets from the tourist office recommends a route which passes through the gardens. A €6 ticket is valid all day, and you can also buy tickets valid for 3 or more days at €3 per day, which are good value if you fancy returning to ramble about or take this picturesque route along the lakeshore.
( Bellagio - Italy ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting Bellagio . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Bellagio - Italy

Veneto,V eneto...Wherefore art thou
Once the heartland of the Venetian Republic, Veneto is today among the wealthiest, most developed and industrialized regions of Italy. Having one of the country's richest historical, natural, artistic, cultural, musical and culinary heritages, it is also one of the most visited regions of Italy and the destination for our ANNUAL PAESANO FALL TRIP to Italy in 2013. This destination is so popular that the first trip is SOLD OUT. So we have added a second trip leaving OCTOBER 1, 2013.
Located between Venice and the Italian Lakes, Veneto is one of Italy's top three wine regions. We'll visit some of its wineries tucked in between such historic places as Padua, Mantua, and Asolo, as well as Sirmione and Desenzano on the shores of beautiful Lake Garda. A day in the magical city of Venice is sure to enchant and amaze all. Our favorite city of all in this region is Verona, the fabled home of the tragic lovers Romeo and Juliet. Verona has been an important crossroads for 2,000 years, and is also the site of an all summer opera festival in its beautiful outdoor Roman amphitheatre. Even if we forget the famous lovers, the Arena, the food and the vineyards, Verona is one of the most beautiful cities in Italy... with its elegant medieval and Renaissance palaces, its fine piazzas...did we mention its shopping! We will make Verona our home for 7 nights, so there will be plenty of time to sample all that this enticing city has to offer.
The departure date for the 8-12 day trip is October 1, 2013 (we are finalizing the details). For those who wish to spend a bit more time in Italy, there is an extension excursion to Milan and Lake Como. Milan is one of Italy's most fashionable cities and one of the richest cities in Europe but it also holds several historic and artistic attractions, including the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, the Last Supper painting, and the famous La Scala Opera House. Travelers to Milan will find a fast-paced, glamorous city with a thriving cultural scene and a top city for shopping.
Lake Como has been a popular retreat for aristocrats and wealthy people since Roman times, and a very popular tourist attraction with many artistic and cultural gems. It recently earned fame as home to Hollywood star George Clooney. But celeb-spotting aside, it's known for jaw-dropping natural beauty, elegant old villas—and the scenic towns surrounding the lake.
