Souroti , a rural village in the Thessaloniki regional unit of Greece is located 25 kilometers outside of the city of Thessaloniki. In Greece the village is particularly known for the mineral water bottled there. Administratively it belongs to the municipality of Thermi. The island is privately owned and located opposite to the agrarian region Neos Marmaras Halkidiki at Toroneos Gulf, between Porto Carras and Porto Koufo and at a distance of about 500 meters from shore (Sithonia). Between the island and the coast there is another smaller island, owned by the Greek state, which together with a rocky third (islet) are the complex bearing the name Spalathronisia. The total area of the island along the foreshore is 103,782 sq.m.
