Spooner is a city in Washburn County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 2,682 at the 2010 census. The city is located mostly within the southwest corner of the Town of Spooner, with a small portion extending into the Town of Beaver Brook on the south, the Town of Bashaw on the southwest, and the Town of Evergreen on the west. The city's nickname is Crossroads of the North, a reference to the fact that the city is at the junction of two U.S. highways, 53 and 63, and State Highways 70 and 253. The city was named after Senator John Coit Spooner.

We are in Chicago!!!!!! We ride the train, eat deep dish pizza, visit the bean, and dip our toes in Lake Michigan, eat some hot dogs and then get lost in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin on the way to Madison. Such a fun day! Not easy huffing through Chicago with four kids 6 and under but we had so much fun doing it! The kids loved the train! At the end we got seperated on the train when Reid and the baby made it on one train and the doors closed on us! We got on the next one and Reid got off to catch up with us and ended up getting there after us! That's why you see us film him and the baby get off the train.

Museum of the Great Plains

Located in Lawton, the Museum of the Great Plains features special collections and exhibits that spotlight the cultural and natural history of the Great Plains of North America. Some of the museum's permanent exhibits include the Domebo Dig Site, an authentic recreation of a 1960s archeological excavation that revealed human activity from 11,000 years ago. Come explore one of the many outdoor exhibits at the museum!
